Americas Buffet in Stafford

I wish there was a 3 2/2 star here because the staff and variety of good but not great food are the stars here. The building is dated, but clean. You won't leave feeling like you didn't have enough to eat.

Really good food with big selection to choose from. Just needs some updates on the facility and sign.

Great place for family and friends to enjoy hot and fresh variety of foods and desserts.

Listening to my sister I came. Should have known sumin wasn't tight. Wasn't many customers there. I counted 3. You pay B4 u eat. Another red flag. Nothing I got was good. My 11month old neice didn't like it. Food was bland. Nothing was seasoned. Then the ribs. I was scared to eat them. Never seen a rib that huge. I asked my sister what animal that came from🤔. Orangeswere good. Salad bowl was full of water. Wasn't happy won't be back

No flavor to ANYTHING. Looked good, very disappointed, i tried 3 different meats, 1 bite all it took, except for liver an onions that was fair, sorry wont go back

Very much casual, reasonable cost, and good taste. Prepaid system is convenient.

Im very impressed, at 12 o'clock I received a call to find a restaurant that would help us with an order for 50 people. Someone suggested American buffet so I called them and not only where they able to help us they had tables ready for our large group. I had called 2 other restaurants but they sounded negative after I told them the amount of orders. Thank you American buffet for helping our group. The food was also great.

Pretty good. Best part is no waiters to bother you

Selection is small and lacking. Soda is at times, flat. However, the overall space is wide and what food selection they do have is decent in taste for the most part. Do note that the price has increased as of late.

We used to eat here quite often, but in the last 5 years, it has become overpriced for the quality. Good for large groups, picky eaters, or those who can't agree on what to eat. They need to update the dining areas. Over time, it has that dingy look, and feels rather gloomy.

The food is ok. It did seem a bit dry and old. Flavor was good. It's a nice change from the usual Chinese buffet. Unfortunate for the owner that their restaurant is next to buffet. Decor was relaxing and atmosphere was quiet when I went. I went around 7pm on Tue, about 20 people or so eating. Best thing I liked was their plate, super heavy duty.

This place never disappoints is damn good no matter what other people may say..... If you want a luxurious buffet go somewhere else but if you love good food is here

I don't think I'll ever be coming back, the only good thing they had was their dinner roll. It gave me really bad diarrhea

The food is plentiful and fresh. I especially enjoy the sald.bar.

This has to be one of the worst restaurants that I've eaten that in the last decade. I'm not a big fan of Golden Corral, or Ryan's type of places but this was like the bottom of the bucket for that type of food. None of the food was really hot and none of it was really cold, my silverware was dirty and my glass was dirty, I posted enough pictures that you can see how this place looked and it's not the Paragon of cleanliness. Not to mention the town was a little kid in there who was screaming at the top of his lungs and running around Barefoot do the eating area and the buffet line. Save yourself a trip and go somewhere else.

Good service but the taste of the food is minimal at best. I wont be back but if you like your food overpriced bland and/or too salty, this may be for you.

The food was very good and well cooked. No waiting. Ready before you step in. You go and choose what you like to eat. Very good place to take friends to eat.

I tried this place a few years ago, I loved it but when I came back this time the food was nothing like I remembered. Probably won't go back.

I have been here a few times. The food is very tasty. The best day to go is Sunday. They bring all sorts of food including Menudo and Pupusas. I am very particular about pupusas and theirs are very well made. They have great offers other days such as beef ribs, fajitas, liver and onions, and a great selection at the salad bar (for adding roughage and healthier choices). The dessert is pretty good too. I would say the best is the bread pudding and apple pie. The price is actually quite reasonable for a buffet (including Sunday) which includes your beverage.

NICE FRESH BAKED BREAD with honey butter wow! So I'm not a dessert fan but here everything is great!!!! When you come in you pay and just serve you're self plus the beverages. If you're in the mood for fajitas they have this here a bit of Chinese selections also. You will not miss on what your family would love to eat bc they have pizza also!

Might have been better if the employees were actually working instead of just goofing off. I am not a hard person to please but this place made me take out my phone to leave this review. So if you like dried out food and employees horsing around then this is the place for you, otherwise keep going.

They have all kinds of selections good for people with food allergies and diet restrictions. Now everytime he wants to visit he requests this place as it's pretty much a smaller Golden Corral. Great place to take the family and not break the bank and it's conveniently by the highway.

Buffet quality of food is decent compared to most with a of choices.

There is a such a large variety of food. Food was very well made and tasted delicious! I've been coming here for a few years with my family and I have never had a bad experience. Employees are nice. Place is kept clean. Over all, this is a great place!

Fajitas very tender and juicy. Food is always hot. The rolls are good. So much to choose from.

Most of the food was "old" definitely needed to be freshened up for dinner! The price isn't worth it if your not a big eater. Selection was just 👌! For me the price isn't worth the variety/selection/freshness like some good buffets!

Very nice restaurant. Clean and inviting. Would have rated it higher, but some of the buffet items seemed rushed. Salad bar was amazing. Lot of FRESH options. Staff seemed very polite and helpful. Tables were cleared fairly quickly. Desserts (which are are big deal to my family) were fresh and there was a good variety. Overall a good place. I recommend going early.

The service is great! The menu over the years has not really changed.. but I prefer not to go just because I believe his the son owner makes you feel uncomfortable and has the need to pass by you and touch you.. I'm not the only one who has said the same thing regarding this guy
